Acedemic Activities
The institute of Nursing Education has adequate infrastructure i.e. Laboratories, Lecture Theatre, Library etc. as per the requirements of Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
The students of Nursing Institutes also have access to the facilities such as Laboratories and Museums of Anatomy, Physiology,Microbiology,Preventive and Social Medicine and other departments of MGM Medical College and Hospital
The institute has its own library with more than 500 books exclusively on nursing subjects. Teaching aids like computer, charts, models, skeleton, overhead projector, and slide projectors are also available to facilitate teaching learning process.
Clinical Activities
Training of the students is facilitated by an excellent team of dedicated members of the faculty of FNINE, Nursing, Medical, and Paramedical personnel of MGM group of Hospitals, where the students get their clinical training.
The total bed capacity of the hospitals is 750 . These are general hospitals, well equipped with diagnostic laboratories, Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Units etc. Experts in Medical and Nursing fields are available in these hospitals for training Medical and Nursing students.
Community health nursing exposure is given by posting them at various urban and rural community health centres.
Lamp -lighting and graduation ceremony is conducted every year. Wherein the freshers dedicate themselves to the noble profession of Nursing and the graduates reconfirm their pledge
EXTRA CURRICULAR Activities
Students are provided recreational facilities like
Indoor and out door games, Television, D.V.D. player,
Tape recorder etc. in the College.
* Annual sport and games
* Picnic for all batches.
Student Nurses Association:
* Students are enrolled as members of SNA, an auxillary branch of Trained Nurses Association
* Students actively participate in SNA activities in college.
Celebration of significant days like:
* Republic day, Independence day, Gandhi Jayanti
* Diwali, Christmas, Onam etc.
* Breast feed week , World AIDS day International nurses day etc.
Lamp -lighting and graduation :
Ceremony is conducted every year, wherein the fresher’s dedicate themselves to the noble profession of Nursing and the graduates renew their pledge.
