General Nursing and Midwifery programme (3 years duration)

Admission is strictly as per the following criteria given by the Indian Nursing Council:

  • Minimum age for admission will be 17 years (as on 31st December of that year). The upper age limit is 35 years. For ANM/LHV, there is no age bar.
  • Minimum education: 10+2 class passed or its equivalent, preferably with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects, with an aggregate of 40% marks.
  • Those who have cleared 10+2 years vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council are eligible.
  • ANM training (2 years) should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination.
  • 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students.
  • Admission of students shall be once in a year.
  • Students shall be medically fit.
  • Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate is mandatory.
  • In addition to the above, admission procedures can be laid down by the concerned State Nursing Council/Nursing Examination Board.
  • Admission strength: 30 seats per year as sanctioned by INC and MNC.
