ADMISSION
Admission of candidates will be subject to merit as well as Medical fitness by MGM’s Medical College Hospital. Annual medical checkup is arranged by the MGM Hospital
BOOKS AND UNIFORM
The students should be in prescribed uniform during clinical experience as well as community health nursing filed experience The Institute will arrange for the supply of books and uniform to students on payment.
FEES
Payment of fees should be done as per the schedule given on page 14 Fees should be paid in single installment or in 2 with prior permission.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
English is the medium of instruction and communication at the Institute. Proficiency in English is important to communicate with teachers/doctors/ classmates and clients. Students must communicate with each other and with other members of the health team in English. It is forbidden to speak in regional language inside the campus.
MARATHI PROFICIENCY
Knowledge of Marathi is essential to interact with patients . Hence it is important to acquire a working knowledge of Marathi to gain adequate clinical / community health experience during training in Hospital Wards / Community Centers etc. Any payments involved will have to borne by the students.
ATTENDENCE
Students are not allowed to take any kind of leave during their training period. A medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner must be submitted in case of sickness. Only 10 days of sick leave is approved by the council.
INTITUTIONAL EXAMINATIONS
Institutional examination are conducted three times in an academic year i.e. in October, January and April.
Minimum Marks for pass is each subject is 50%.
25% of the total marks obtained in each subject is send to the Maharashtra Nursing Council as Internal Assessment Marks.
